I contacted this dealership via the Internet and found the experience to be very easy to deal with. When I arrived to test drive the car everything was exactly like I was told it would be. No changed numbers and the right car. I believe Mr. Hamel is the online manager. He was very knowledgeable about the car and met my requirements perfectly. I do strongly recommend him to friends. Very knowledgable, kind and patient salesman. He was straight up with me and I appreciated it. No back and forth baloney. I gave him the numbers I was looking for and he did his best to meet my needs. he made me feel comfortable and didn't have any shady undertones. This dealership has poor customer service. The sales person we dealt with seemed disorganized and confused. Calling us at home stating the car was ready for us. We went to the dealership to pick it up, low and behold us was not. He also forgot to ask for the title of our trade in, therefore another trip back to the dealership. The finance person Mackenzie when we said we were not interested in the extended warranty, got very combative, aggressive and just plain nasty. This to the point I almost cancelled the deal. Avoid selling your used car to Koch Toyota. They enticed me by phone with a quote on my car (which was close $s to other offers I had)..then low-balled me by 20% after I visited dealership. They would not produce the original quote provided to me and Manager was rude and dismissive. BTW - car was low miles in great shape
Called service dept because check engine and 4WD malfunction. Was told I could drop off my car for a couple of days and they would take a look at it. I said not an option and they said I could rent a car for a couple days at their dealership. My response was can’t you offer anything better. This Toyota dealership location has changed management a few times over the past 20 years . I've purchased 5 new Toyota vehicles from this location over that time , had them all serviced there . After today's visit I will never buy anything from this location or any Koch location again . From the moment I arrived the service advisor was rude and unhelpful . It got worse from there . It's like that old saying ,,,, "bad employees to use good customers" .
Fear mongering tactics. Been going there for 4+ yrs with my FJ, with all mileage maintenance updates. Last owner, wonderful. New owner, scammy. From my last oil change 4 months ago and a clean bill of health, my FJ suddenly developed 9K worth of multiple problems. It was almost laughable. This dealership has gone down the toilet. The service dept is all over the place. Oil changes taking 2+ hours. Staff is rude. Cant question anything without being talked down to rudely. I asked a guy named Mike in the svc dept who was working on my car. This man literally says to me “why do you need to know that? I had my car serviced there. They recommended brake service after inspection. I knew I was close on brakes so I had them do it. The quote was on the high side but in the dealer range. I asked the service advisor if I could use their coupon for $30 of majfor service. He applied the coupon and then charged me $38 of “additional fees”. I’m used to $40 to $10 pf “shop fees” but $38 is xxxxxx stupid. I wrote to customer service about this asking for an explanation of what I paid the $38 for and received no answer.
