Sales service was excellent, fair and certainly tolerate of our changng desires. We never felt like something was being pulled over our eyes. Responses were rapid and clear. Staff was helpful at every stage of the process and it felt like they were realy trying to find us what we wanted and needed. We would definately recommed this dealership and staff to anyone.
Overall, a very good experience with Acton Toyota. I already knew the car I wanted and the price I should pay, and it was easy to work out a deal over the internet. When we visited for a test drive, they were low pressure and very acocomadating to the pressures of car shopping with a 2 year old. Tom (our internet salesperson) was friendly and helpful, but still relatively new there and perhaps a bit inexperienced about the cars. The whole buying experience at Acton Toyota was outstanding. Julianna gave as a fair and accurate price from the start and was very pleasant. For an informed buyer this made a big difference. Other dealers had lots of hidden costs, but at Acton there really weren't any surprises.
Steve Jensen was the most knowledgeable salesman I've dealt with for many years -- perhaps ever -- explaining the car and answering all of our questions. He was also very friendly and conscietious, following up on our every meeting or conversation within a day or two, but WITHOUT BEING PUSHY or "high-powered." He seems to understand that a superior product, like the Prius, will sell itself once the customer is fully informed of its merits. Yes, your nice, new, QUIET showroom helps too.
I would give Mr. Pereira and Acton Toyota the highest recommendation. Mr. Pereira was pleasant and personable, but not overwhelming; he kept his good nature during the several discussions we had about the car and price. He was never pushy. He was forthcoming about breaking down the price into its components, so the discussions were straightforward. I was referred to Acton Toyota by friends. When I went, I met the used car manager who introduced me to one of the Acton Toyota Truck specialists, Steve Augusta. Steve asked me what I was looking for, how I would be using it, and if I had seen one on the lot. I advised him I saw one near what I was looking for, but in the wrong color. THIS IS THE 2nd VEHICLE I HAVE PURCHASED FROM ACTON TOYOTA AND MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM HAS BEEN CONSISTENTLY WONDERFUL. THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO FIND FINANCING THAT WOULD WORK FOR ME. THEY WERE EXTREMELY FLEXIBLE IN DEALING WITH MY SCHEDULE, WITH NONE OF THE USUAL PRESSURE I'VE EXPERIENCED WITH OTHER DEALERS, NONE OF THE "I CAN ONLY GIVE YOU THIS DEAL IF YOU PURCHASE BY (DATE)". The price was good, but could have been better if my credit was better, so I guess that is more on me. Customer service was really good except for communication about when my car would be ready. They sold me a car that wasn't actually there. To be fair, they were in the middle of a move. It took almost a week longer than if the car was in inventory.
