This review is written after my second purchase from Acton Toyota through Carl McPhee (actontoyota.com). I found again the purchase of our 2nd vehicle to be as direct, honest, and hassle free as the first. We were left with the impression that our satisfaction (overall) was most important in all stages of the transaction.
I had a very positive experience in upgrading my 2000 Tacoma to a 2008 model. My 8-year old truck with 71K miles was running great and I was planning to keep it for a long time. Then I learned (from Toyota) about the frame rust problems. I am totally amazed at Toyota's responsible approach to this issue. First class—customer-focused all the way. I bought the car remotly from Canada and got it shipped home. The car was clean, at a fare price and Wellington was professional through all the transaction. Acton Toyota are set up to do business on the internet and I would definetly buy again.
In my 52 years of buying cars, Acton Toyota and my salesman Steve Agusta are the first I have come across that I trust completely. There was no haggeling about price, the price they gave me was the best one I had received and the service I got from Steve was just super. I went through the Internet sales department and had a very good experience. My sales person was helpful, knowledgeable as well as personable. The car was readily available and there was not a long wait for finance. I have heard that this dealership is different, friendly and that the sales people were not pushy, I have to agree!
I am submitting this review on my own initiative because my contact with Acton Toyota has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience,in sharp contrast to other dealerships I initially approached. My salesman, Anthony Clarke, has been helpful, informative and cooperative throughout the transaction. The dealership personnel with whom I had contactwere all intelligent, knowledgeable and acted professionally at all times. I can't praise them all enough, especially Anthony Clarke.
