Called twice to get a regular service quote, both time were checked and confirmed what's included. But after I got in, the service rep apologized that they quote me wrong. The manager came which just repeat the same thing and offer no help and does not honor the mistake they made. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU ON THE PHONE AND THEY WILL NOT HONOR IT. Very upset, wasted two hours. , got in early with an empty stomach and came back with nothing done.

Acton Toyota of Littleton wrote on 1/19/2012 11:17:37 AM: Good Morning, I understand that Randy Irwin, our Service Manager, spoke with you in an effort to understand your concerns and offer some assistance. Apparently you booked a 120,000 mile service on the phone for your 2001 Sienna and were quoted a price for this service. When you arrived at the dealership, the Service Advisor noted that you had never had a 90,000 mile service and recommended that the spark plugs should really be replaced since they had not been previous... read more

My wife and I have used this dealership for service and sales. In service, they failed to fix the issue on both our Toyota's correctly the first time. We both had to bring our vehicles back to the shop for proper diagnosis and repair. For sales, we recently attempted to purchase a 2012 vehicle. The dealership promised us a new vehicle but on signing day, offered up a vehicle with miles on it as new. When we asked them for concessions or to supply us with a new vehicle, they refused and refunded our deposit. Upon talking with... read more

Business response:

Acton Toyota of Littleton's reputation is based on a superior customer experience. The overwhelming number of positive customer reviews on DealerRater is evidence of that commitment. While we strive to please and satisfy every single customer, inevitably there are customers with unreasonable expectations or demands. There are two sides to every story and in this case, we made numerous attempts to resolve a misunderstanding, but to no avail. We immediately offered a refund which the customer accepted, when we couldn't deliver... read more

When purchasing the car, all went well. I asked when It was to be ready? I was excited to hear that our Chrysler Seabring was going to be ready the next day. I asked if I could come by with my wife to get it at 4:00p.m. I was told that would be perfect. I was also told at the time of purchase that everything would be done, (registration, repair to the door, plates, inspection etc...) When I arrived our car looked ready except for the door. When I asked about the door he said I would have to take it down the street to the main... read more

Business response:

We clearly dropped the ball and have already apologized. The salesperson should have taken care of the promised items prior to you picking up your new vehicle. Anything other than that is unacceptable. It is our understanding that everything has been resolved to your satisfaction. If not, please do not hesitate to contact us. Enjoy your Sebring Convertible. It came from a good home (my son-in-law's parents).

$200 for an O2 sensor? Two hours of labor???? Total $200 for an O2 sensor? Two hours of labor???? Total was $401, but I got 6000 reward points which reduced the total to ~370. I was warned before I went and I should have listened. Original Toyota parts are aprroximately 100% markup. It is the labor I am questioning here. There is no way in the world this took two hours to unscrew the O2 sensor, test, then replace. I'm disappointed.

Business response:

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. It is my understanding that our Service Manager contacted you to discuss and explain the charges associated with your repair. I believe we issued a small credit to you based on that conversation. Incidentally, we contacted 5 local service centers including several Toyota dealerships as well as independent shops to review our pricing in light of your concern. We found that our pricing was in line with what others charge for the same type of repair. Regardless, we didn't wa... read more

Everything was smooth when I completed a 75K intermediate service with my Toyota Sienna until I came home. I found a line of scratch on the van's right side that extended from the rear wheel well up to right front door. I tried to had it "buffed" back at the dealer just to correct it, after all it is only a minor scratch. But after several phone calls to Eric Moeller and more follow-up e-mails, nothing was done as of today. Out of frustration, I had it fixed already, by myself. This is really a big disappointment from this d... read more

After speaking with you on the phone to apologize, I believe that you know it was not our intention to ignore your problem. Once again, thank you for your patronage and your feedback. I am very upset over how long a recent service took. When I called to schedule the service, I was told it shouldn't take more than an hour, which makes sense considering the work to be performed (state inspection and swap of winter and summer tires - yes, I know they have to be balanced too but I've had this same service done at this dealer before on much busier days and it took very little time). The amount of time between when I left the service advisor's desk to the time I actually got my car back was TWO HOURS AND TWENTY... read more

The only issue was having to replace my single green license plate with two new red plates. The greeen plate was not damaged or illegible. Ken warned us that the RMV wants to replace all green plates, however, the dealer gave us a reject sticker. If the dealer had told us that they reject all green plates with a reject sticker, we would of replaced the plates as Ken suggested. We then had to go to the registry and back to the dealer for a new sticker. I believe the dealership was negligent. Also, the price was good not great... read more

I started my car search at Acton Toyota on the recommendation of collegues. I was up front with the salesperson that I would be checking with another dealership to cross reference prices and availability for the Prius I was looking for. I knew what my trade was worth from Kelley Blue Book...the sales manager wanted to "do right" by giving me $85.00 more than my pay off balance. This was $600 less than the "poor" condition value ....my car is in excellent condition. This was the first red flag for me.....but I let them show m... read more
